Orchard Pond is one of the closest B&Bs to IWM Duxford, making us the ideal base for visiting the museum and its spectacular air shows. Just a 5-minute drive or an easy 20 minute walk, you couldn't be better placed.

Beyond the air shows, IWM Duxford is one of Europe's largest aviation museums. Housed in the historic wartime hangars of this former RAF and USAAF fighter station, the museum is home to an extraordinary collection of aircraft, tanks, and military vehicles spanning over a century of conflict.

For business visitors, we're only 10–15 minutes from Granta Park, The Welding Institute (TWI), Chesterford Research Park, Genome Campus, Sanger Institute and Babraham Research Campus. We offer special rates for longer-stay business guests.

We're also well placed if you're flying from Stansted Airport (30 minutes).and can arrange taxis for collection and pick up. The B&B is less than a 10-minute walk from Whittlesford Parkway station, with direct trains to Cambridge (6 min), Stansted Airport (40 min) and London Liverpool Street (45-55 min)
